What is HHVB?

Hip Hop Vienna Blog, or shortly HHVB, is a blog created by Kathleen Montorio, determining international support of artists who were born or are living or working in Vienna’s Hip Hop scene.

HHVB offers

• information (e.g. date, place, description, short biographies of the management, judges, MCs, DJs and participants) about Hip Hop events like jams, cyphers and battles that take place in Vienna
• information (e.g. short biographies, pictures, contact info and links to official websites, videos and mixtapes) about dancers, b-boys, rappers, MCs and DJs who were born in Vienna or who participated in Hip Hop events that took place in Vienna

to give Hip Hop fans around the world the possibility to live the Hip Hop’s motto „Peace, Love, Unity and Having fun“ through giving information about Vienna’s Hip Hop culture.

HHVB makes it possible to musicians, event managers, photographers and other artists to find or even book artists supported by HHVB for their own projects.

Hip Hop artists around the world who are interested to participate in Vienna’s jams, cyphers or battles can find clear information about these events and their participants to be able to unite themselves with Vienna’s Hip Hop artists in a peaceful and heartwarming way.

What is HHVB not?

HHVB is not an encyclopedia. Bloggers of HHVB choose its artists and events optionally and don’t feel responsible to blog about every single artist or event.

HHVB is not a website where you can only find lists of Hip Hop events‘ and artists‘ names. HHVB gives profound information to guarantuee a high degree of transparency.

HHVB is not a social medium like Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Readers cannot interact with Hip Hop artists in this blog. Contact infos can be found in short biographies.

HHVB is not political. Every readers‘ comment on blog entries with political content will be deleted by the bloggers. HHVB gives only information to its readers.

HHVB is not giving gossip and tittle-tattle. HHVB main idea is international support of Vienna's Hip Hop artists.
