Viennese Hip Hop Summer School (VHHSS) - general information

All gender expressions are meant for both genders, male and female. The fluent reading is the only reason for the usage of a male based gender expression.

What is the VHHSS?

The goal of the Viennese Hip Hop Summer School is the communication of the Hip Hop culture’s roots (motto: Peace, Love, Unity & Having Fun; uniting 5 elements: Rap, DJing, Dance/Breakdance, Beatbox, Graffiti).

The Viennese Hip Hop Summer School does not give any lessons in any arts of the Hip Hop elements. It teaches only the mentality of the Hip Hop culture. The focus is set on uniting and not on the level of certain talents.

What is the difference between the VHHSS and other schools?

The VHHSS not only about the Hip Hop elements. With conversation, jams and feedbacks a peaceful, lovely and worth living unity shall be achieved.

Participants learn in conversations about Hip Hop to bring about peace in others and oneself. Their self confidence will be strengthened while acting out their talents and creativity on the streets and making experiences in spontaneous collaborations. Feedbacks in the end of each session teach them how to treat other Hip Hop artists respectfully.

What is the goal of the VHHSS?

After participation in the Viennese Hip Hop Summer School each participant knows that (inner) peace, love, unity and acting out one’s talent are the pillars of Hip Hop culture and not drugs, gangster life and street life as most people always say.

What is special about the VHHSS?
