Time has changed and there is only one dance Hip Hop Jam left in Vienna. It's called "HipHopJam", is organised by DJ Sammogly and almost 4 years old. It takes place two or three times a year. And last Saturday, it was time to jam again!

Three DJs were on the decks at the HipHopJam in the Roxy Club: DJ Ronny C, DJ Dmastarr, DJ Pas  and DJ Sammogly. The jam started at 23:00. I entered the club at around 23:30. The club was well-filled and people were already dancing on the dance floor.

I don't like the current club hits music the biggest clubs play. That's a reason why I stopped going to big clubs in Vienna. But for a lover of Hip Hop there is a solution! It's called HipHopJam! :D

I have been to two HipHopJams already and I must say: I always enjoyed it because it's not commercial Hip Hop the DJs played. Plus, the music was danceable! There has only been Hip Hop and RnB music from the 80s, 90s and the 2000ers. I was dancing a lot.

Yeah, there has also been a cypher for a short time. To sum up: It simply was a Hip Hop night!!! I met rapper Nat Brown and beat producer Dantaya at the jam and left the club at 3 o'clock.

So if you are in Vienna and you wanna jam, go to the HipHopJam by DJ Sammogly without getting judged by your dance moves. Because it's all about fun. The next HipHopJam will be on the 14th of March, 2014. More information are coming soon.

Die Zeiten haben sich geändert und nun gibt es nur noch einen einzigen Tanz Hip Hop Jam in Wien. Er heißt "HipHopJam", wird von DJ Sammogly seit knapp 4 Jahren organisiert. Er findet zwei oder dreimal im Jahr statt. Und letzten Samstag war es wieder Zeit zu jammen!

Drei DJs legten beim HipHopJam im Roxy Club auf: DJ Ronny C, DJ Dmastarr, DJ Pas und DJ Sammogly. Der Jam begann um 23:00. Ich betrat den Club um 23:30 herum. Da war er schon gut gefüllt und viele Gäste tanzten bereits auf der Tanzfläche.

Ich mag die aktuelle Clubhit-Musik in den größeren Clubdiscos Wiens nicht. Das war ein Grund für mich, die großen Clubdiscos zu besuchen. Aber für einen Hip Hop-Liebhaber gibt es eine Lösung für dieses Problem! Und sie heißt: HipHopJam! :D

Ich war schon auf zwei HipHopJams und ich muss sagen, dass ich bei beiden Malen die unkommerzielle Hip Hop Musik, die die DJs spielten, genoss. Dazu kommt noch, dass ihre Musik tanzbar war! Es gab nur Hip Hop und RnB Musik von den 80er, 90er und 2000er Jahren. Ich hab viel getanzt.

Ja, für eine kurze gab es sogar einen Cypher. Zusammfassend kann man sagen: Es war ganz einfach eine Hip Hop Nacht!!! Ich traf beim Jam den Rapper Nat Brown und Beat Producer Dantaya und verließ den Club um 03:00.

Wenn ihr in Wien seid und Lust habt zu jammen, dann kommt zum HipHopJam vom DJ Sammogly ohne Angst davor zu haben, für deine Tanzmoves beurteilt zu werden. Denn es geht ja schließlich um den Spaß! :) Der nächste HipHopJam findet am 14. März statt! Mehr Infos gibt's bald.
