It was a big event with international flair. We had spotlights like in the theatre or at a boxing event, stairs the participant had to go downstairs before their battle, a projector, a screen, some photographers and many videographers. We had our own hashtag in Instagram and Twitter.


This event started with a cypher on stage. Kids, men and women had fun to cypher. We were impressed how good the kids were. The MCs opened the event with presenting us the top 8 of the preselection. A woman wearing a toga carried a flag with the Red Bull BC One Cypher's logo went from the first floor downstairs to the stage followed by the top 8 of the preselection. The light made them to special guests and motivational music was played during the parade. When the woman and the participants left the stage, the MCs presented the whole team:

the judges, Bboy Hong10 (7 Commandos, BOTY winner 2002, BC One World finalist 2005, BC One World Champion 2006) from Korea, Bboy Crazy (judge at BOTY, legend in Switzerland) and Bboy Lil Amok (Flying Steps; Germany) and DJ Cosmic.

The screen showed the participant's artist name before they enter the stage. They were spotlighted while entering the stage. The screen also streamed the battle live. The sound quality was good. There was no single technical problem. The participants' names were projected correctly and on time.
