"Monetary" by Adolessonz - analysis #2

teasing analysis

Let me tease you and give you short analysis of my favourite parts of "Monetary".

#2 Bar for Bar

In "Bar for Bar" the impact of the financial system on society is described. This track is not only an objective and negative critique about money. There is also a positive message in it: a suggestion how to get out of this trapped situation.

It doesn't really matter how much you got because money comes and goes and there are people working for no cash. All that really matter is what and who you really are. There is no need to look up to people you don't know in person for example to models or actors or singers. You can look up to those who love you and you know in person. "Don't be afraid to look up to those who love you."

"(...) Way too long we acting careless, (1)
Never really focus on our self-awareness, (2)
put financial success over fairness, (3)
but now it's time to rise up like "his airness", (4)

everybody needs somebody to look up to, (5)
don't be afraid to look up to those who love you, (6)
and at the same time you can't avoid trouble, (7)
if you feel that you're pushed into something that is not you! (...)" (8) - Adolessonz in "Bar for Bar"

analysis:
  • rhymes:
    • careless (1), self-awareness (2), success (3), fairness (3), airness (4)
    • to (5), to (6), you (6), into (8), you (8)
