My first task to unite Hip Hop artists of different Hip Hop elements is completed! Do you remember female rapper CoCo - VIEs Realest? If not, you should check out her short biography: http://hiphopvienna.blogspot.co.at/2014/07/coco-vies-realest.html
She asked me a month ago to get her some female dancers for a videoshooting. Supporting her, I wrote a shout out-blog entry shared it in the correct facebook-groups, asked HHVB-member Stella and my own supporter Mr. Ritz (TRIPLE G) to help us out. Finally, we had 10 confirmations.
On the 27th of September, we met at 5 o'clock in the evening in the underground station "Friedensbrücke". We were shooting the video on the streets with legal graffitis in the background. Oh, yes, we felt so underground and so Hip Hop!
But before the videoshooting began, CoCo wanted to connect with the dancers, introduce herself and the track "Bad Habit" to the dancers. It was important to CoCo and me, to unite ourselves with the dancers to one team. And it worked! 9 dancers came, 7 of them stayed and we started straight away with the videoshooting.

Behind the video camera was motivated Fatih!
We started with a warm up. Stella suggested to do a cypher. The dancers had fun and developped a feeling of being one team very quickly even though for most of them, it was the first time they get to know each other.

The videoshooting ended at around 8 o'clock in the evening. I won't tell you too much about the video-scenes, but I'll show you some pictures of it.

It made me proud to live Hip Hop at its roots and after its real motto
"Peace, Love, Unity & Having Fun". At this videoshooting, there was
no rivalry, no hatred, no sadness. Peacefully and warmhearted, we got
connected, expressed ourselves in dancing/rapping and made new friends. That's when I say,
"Hip Hop is still alive."

I'm very curious about the complete video. The track "Bad Habit" is in English and the first part of a song and the video should be uploaded with the second part in November. If you want to book some of these female Hip Hop dancers for your own projects, just contact me.
Peace,
Kath
P.S.: more pictures & blog entry about the trailer
