When I came to the ballet school where the workshop took place, Bboy Manuel already had started. Young girls and boys were there and curious about what they would learn. Starting with a warm up, Manuel straight away went to breakdance history and taught some basic moves. I got no pictures of the freezes, but yes, they learnt the baby freeze and the shoulder freeze in the second part of the workshop.
After dinner, I went to fluc (a location in the 2nd district of Vienna) together with Bboy Manuel. Bboy David was there too. I introduced both bboys to some rappers and the rappers to them. Making first steps to unite the older ones in Vienna's Hip Hop.
Rappers Faun and HolyMoly were the MCs and led in a clear and funny way through the night.

MÄRZ Records artists and some of their friends performed their albums, mixtapes or songs at the "MÄRZ Records - Straight Outta Praterstern" - concert. Okma & Relups made the beginning with their very first concert ever.
In the end of their concert, they asked somebody in the audience to jam with them in freestyle. HolyMoly and Faun went on stage and jammed together in a cypher. Freestyle rap in double flow is one of Faun's skills.
After Okma & Relups, friends of MÄRZ Records were on stage. It was Hef & MS MC from Team H-Town. Oh, what a wonderful duo! One could see that they had a lot of experience performing on stage. DJ Bacchus was for them on the decks!
DJ Bacchus was also for the next act rapper derMog (Club der Menschen) on the decks. Very entertaining and easygoing was his performance!
The big final of the concert was the freestyle rap session with rapper crew "Club der Menschen" meaning X.L.E.O., derMog, HolyMoly & Faun. MS MC was inspired to jam together with them and spit some rhymes on the words the audience had given them. As you know Club der Menschen already, their live shows whether if they're in the internet or on stage always include the audience.

I was too tired to get with Club der Menschen and Bboy Manuel to the Kurtis Blow concert. So I went home to get some sleep for my first day at work on the following day.
All in all, seeing a maybe new generation of Hip Hop at a workshop, talking about Hip Hop's philosophy for hours, listening to Vienna's Hip Hop music, making first steps to unite dancers and rappers, made the 10th of October 2014 one step closer to "Peace, Love, Unity & Having Fun" in Vienna.
Yours,
Kath
