Christmas days passed! How was your Christmas?

Two weeks ago, DJ Dr. Drunkadelic told me about his gig as a supporter act together with his rapper crew Club der Menschen in the bar "B72" on the 25th of December, 2014. German rapper eloQuent should be the main act. A rapper I haven't heard of before. Bboy Giant Rock from the Hip Hop Kulturkreis association and Hip Hop dancer NatureFlow recommended me eloQuent's music. I missed Club der Menschen and DJ Dr. Drunkadelic, so I decided two days before the gig to buy a ticket for the gig. eloQuent's music made me want to stay until the end of the gig.

Hip Hop in Vienna on the 10th of October 2014

Ouh! So much was happening on the 10th of October! I met Bboy Manuel from the Hip Hop Kulturkreis at a free streetdance workshop in the afternoon. In the evening I talked a lot about Hip Hop's philosophy with him until the concerts of Club der Menschen took place. We both met Bboy David (also from the Hip Hop Kulturkreis) at the concert and enjoyed listening to Viennese Hip Hop music. Manuel even breaked in front of the stage and made the evening to a real Hip Hop night while uniting two of four/five Hip Hop elements with dancing on a concert.

Club der Menschen - 2 gigs at the same time

Hello, guys!

The 10th of October will be legendary in alltime Hip Hop - history. Why? Rapper crew "Club der Menschen" will be the first crew to perform on stage at two different locations almost at the same time. Whoop whoop!

In "fluc + fluc wanne" (see hardfacts), located in the second district, rappers Faun and HolyMoly from Club der Menschen crew will be MCs of the event called "MÄRZ RECORDS - Straight outta Praterstern". Of course, they will rap in freestyle together with their crewmembers and rappers X-L.E.O., Cyrill, Kschisch, Milner and derMog. Crewmember and DJ Phlow will give the beats. Crewmember and rapper derMog will also have a solo-gig there. How much is entry fee? The entry is free. Donations are welcome!

FREATZ (description)

FREATZ is a freestyle rap livestream from Atzgersdorf (a small place on the west side of Vienna) that takes place every second Sunday. This livestream is powered by make.tv. Rapper Faun (member of Club der Menschen [engl.: club of human beings]) is the founder of this liveshow and together with X.L.E.O. (Club der Menschen), they are the resident freestyle rappers and MCs. Viewers can log into a live chat and give comments and words Faun and X.L.E.O. rap about in freestyle. FREATZ (15th of June) - first impressions

This is a MUST for every fan of Viennese Hip Hop! The name of this liveshow must be in your mind when you think of Viennese Hip Hop scene or Viennese rap scene. It's a big project and it will become bigger and bigger. What its name is? FREATZ! Founder is rapper Faun (member of the crew called "Club der Menschen" [engl.: club of human beings]) and together with rapper X.L.E.O. (also a member of "Club der Menschen"), they are the resident rappers of the liveshow! FREATZ's motto: "Eure Kommentare - Unsere Raps" meaning "Your comments - Our raps"!

Fest der Reime im Einbaumöbel (impressions)

Hello there!

Do you know Einbaumöbel? It's a well known and non-profit location for music jams in Vienna. There, beatboxing sessions and rap jams take place every week. On the 7th of June, I went to the Fest der Reime #17 (celebration of rhymes) that took place in Einbaumöbel. I have never been there before and I was lucky to see familiar faces.
