Beatbox Session @Einbaumöbel - first impressions

In the evening of the 14th of January, I had a long talk with Bboy Giant Rock from the Hip Hop Kulturkreis (an association for supporting Hip Hop culture in Austria) about many projects for and about Vienna's Hip Hop. We forgot the time in deep conversations. Vienna's Hip Hop will go through a lot of changements in the next years.

After that meeting, I was rushing to the location Einbaumöbel (short: 1bm). I thought, I was too late for the Beatbox Session and would miss the beatbox crew Chakrabreaker. Aaaaaaaaaaaah, I thought wrong. The session went on when I already left 1bm at 11 pm.

week's summary by Kath (21st - 26th of July)

What's uuuuuuuuuuuuup? You, readers, doin' well? This week, I was busy to organise my little brother's birthday party that will be celebrated traditional filipino in two weeks. Clothes, shoes, decoration, a DJ and the like.

Last Wednesday, I was invited to a private freestyle rap cypher in "Einbaumöbel". DJ Dr. Drunkadelic (Club der Menschen) gave the beats, I danced, was talking to rapper Böser Wolf (Kopf an Kopf ab) and rapper X.L.E.O. (Club der Menschen) and met rapper Mcn' ethic. Vienna's rapper scene seems to be warm hearted. Before this freestyle cypher began, rapper Mog (Club der Menschen), rapper Dagoth Ur and another guy were playing ludo. I had a lot of fun watching them while smoking my Villiger Kiel cigarillo. In the end, they invited me to play with them even without knowing anything about me. :)

Fest der Reime im Einbaumöbel (impressions)

Hello there!

Do you know Einbaumöbel? It's a well known and non-profit location for music jams in Vienna. There, beatboxing sessions and rap jams take place every week. On the 7th of June, I went to the Fest der Reime #17 (celebration of rhymes) that took place in Einbaumöbel. I have never been there before and I was lucky to see familiar faces.

What's uuuuuuup? :D Too much was going on here last week. Too many projects were calling me and I got lost in details and information. But I'm back to give you, guys, a short update. ;)

On the 7th of June, I went to the so called "Fest der Reime" to the Einbaumöbel. It was a small concert of Viennese rappers. Rapper Böser Wolf introduced me to several rappers and told me some stuff about the location "Einbaumöbel". More information in another blog entry.
