Christmas days passed! How was your Christmas?

Two weeks ago, DJ Dr. Drunkadelic told me about his gig as a supporter act together with his rapper crew Club der Menschen in the bar "B72" on the 25th of December, 2014. German rapper eloQuent should be the main act. A rapper I haven't heard of before. Bboy Giant Rock from the Hip Hop Kulturkreis association and Hip Hop dancer NatureFlow recommended me eloQuent's music. I missed Club der Menschen and DJ Dr. Drunkadelic, so I decided two days before the gig to buy a ticket for the gig. eloQuent's music made me want to stay until the end of the gig.

real name: Fathima; CoCo was a nickname her cousine gave her and it happened that friends started to call her like that too. Finally it became her artist name.

FREATZ (15th of June) - first impressions

This is a MUST for every fan of Viennese Hip Hop! The name of this liveshow must be in your mind when you think of Viennese Hip Hop scene or Viennese rap scene. It's a big project and it will become bigger and bigger. What its name is? FREATZ! Founder is rapper Faun (member of the crew called "Club der Menschen" [engl.: club of human beings]) and together with rapper X.L.E.O. (also a member of "Club der Menschen"), they are the resident rappers of the liveshow! FREATZ's motto: "Eure Kommentare - Unsere Raps" meaning "Your comments - Our raps"!

Mobb Deep’s supporter act: Böser Wolf and DJ Bacchus (impressions)

Oh, where should I start? Mobb Deep had their concert on the 11th of June in Grelle Forelle in Vienna. When I arrived at the underground station Spittelau, I had my problems to get there. I got lost for 20 minutes. Google Maps and GPS couldn’t really help me. When I finally found that location that is situated close to the Danube, I couldn’t find the entrance. Hahaha! WTF! Security men that didn’t stand in the entrance showed me the way. I got relieved, entered, paid the entrance fee of 28,90 Euro and explored Grelle Forelle. It was my very first time there. And I found out, Grelle Forelle is not in an official street, so that’s why my GPS couldn’t find it!

Fest der Reime im Einbaumöbel (impressions)

Hello there!

Do you know Einbaumöbel? It's a well known and non-profit location for music jams in Vienna. There, beatboxing sessions and rap jams take place every week. On the 7th of June, I went to the Fest der Reime #17 (celebration of rhymes) that took place in Einbaumöbel. I have never been there before and I was lucky to see familiar faces.

On the 22nd of May Dreistil has been taken place for the very first time in REPLUGGED! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaah! Well, I got to say: I'm in love with this battle. Before REPLUGGED opened its doors for this event at 19:30, I was there an hour earlier to have a talk with Dreistil's organisators Daniel Malik, Epos and Kaul Kwappen. By the way, they had organised a camera team (video and photography).
