eloQuent @B72 (Club der Menschen, Weisssgold, T-Ser)
Christmas days passed! How was your Christmas?
Two weeks ago, DJ Dr. Drunkadelic told me about his gig as a supporter act together with his rapper crew Club der Menschen in the bar "B72" on the 25th of December, 2014. German rapper eloQuent should be the main act. A rapper I haven't heard of before. Bboy Giant Rock from the Hip Hop Kulturkreis association and Hip Hop dancer NatureFlow recommended me eloQuent's music. I missed Club der Menschen and DJ Dr. Drunkadelic, so I decided two days before the gig to buy a ticket for the gig. eloQuent's music made me want to stay until the end of the gig.

Update: FREATZ, ARL & Dreistil, CoCo aka SoReal
Yo, guys!
What's up? I've had a job for a month and just dismissed yesterday. I had almost no time for supporting my Hip Hop artists and for updating the HHVB. But this didn't mean that I had no time for Hip Hop. I was at two Hip Hop events last week. And tomorrow Vienna will be a hotspot for the urban dancers (Hip Hop, House, Breakdance) in Austria and Europe.
But what's new now on the HHVB? On the 29th of September I let you know what will be next on the HHVB (read about it here). And I managed to write some of the planned blog entries.

FREATZ (21st of September, 2014) - Behind the Scenes
Oh, where shall I start? The midth of September was a personally bad one, but the seperation of a fresh relationship didn't hold me back to go on supporting warm-hearted Hip Hop artists. Rapper Faun (Club der Menschen crew) was ready for an interview and invited me to come to Dr. Drunkadelic's crib when they were about to start FREATZ. What FREATZ is? Click here to get to the description. I was curious to see Freatz behind the scenes, because the first time when I the show live, I immediately became a fan. FREATZ has awaken my fascination for freestyle rap. Click here to read my first impressions of FREATZ. However, the 21st of September was a bad day for FREATZ-team.

What's comming up? (29th of September, 2014)

How you doin'? The last weeks were so much Hip Hop in Vienna. I won't tell you about every single Hip Hop event I've been because some were supported by politicians and we don't want any political content on the HHVB.
Rapper Faun (Club der Menschen crew) invited me to FREATZ, the Freestyle Rap Livestream aus Atzgersdorf, on the 21st of September for an interview with him. We both had no time for that interview, so he let me look behind the scenes of FREATZ. I took a lot of pictures and enjoyed watching DJ Dr. Drunkadelic (Hashtwins: Die Siamesischen Chillinge - Duo; Club der Menschen crew), resident-rappers Faun and X-L.E.O. week's summary by Kath (7th - 13th of July)
Hello, readers!
You all fine? My week was a busy one as always. :D I planned to meet a Viennese female rapper called Coco last Tuesday, met Dantaya last Wednesday and had a photoshooting in Lower Austria for my career as a poet last Saturday.
Coco and me didn't manage to meet for an interview on the 7th of July. But I'm eager to support her and will meet her today. :D
Last Wednesday, I met Dantaya from The Mind of Origin again to check his beats and tracks. I didn't know what to expect of a beat producer and rapper who has made music for over ten years, so I went there without any prejudice. Dantaya's warm-hearted hospitality made it easy for me to be open for his music. When I listened to most of his beats, I felt like standing or sitting somewhere while smoking. It was and still is fascinating for me that his big influence of oldschool Hip Hop and Reggea/Dancehall could be heard in most of the tracks combined with a deep impact of emotions. I wrote the short biography of his crew "The Mind of Origin" on the same evening and enjoyed sharing american hip hop music with him. FREATZ (15th of June) - first impressions
This is a MUST for every fan of Viennese Hip Hop! The name of this liveshow must be in your mind when you think of Viennese Hip Hop scene or Viennese rap scene. It's a big project and it will become bigger and bigger. What its name is? FREATZ! Founder is rapper Faun (member of the crew called "Club der Menschen" [engl.: club of human beings]) and together with rapper X.L.E.O. (also a member of "Club der Menschen"), they are the resident rappers of the liveshow! FREATZ's motto: "Eure Kommentare - Unsere Raps" meaning "Your comments - Our raps"!

week's summary by Kath (23rd - 29th of June)
Hey, guys!
There was a lot on the agenda this week. I interviewed Beli Vuk about his new song "Rap Bombardement" and supported him with three blog entries (announcement, background information, short analysis and English translation of the lyrics). This way of supporting a song with HHVB will be it!
Beside working for the HHVB, I was supporting the Dreistil team with handing out flyers for the second Dreistil rap battle on the 26th of June (announcement, description). Plus, I visited that battle, took minutes for the HHVB and wrote down some notes for a blog entry with my impressions.

Fest der Reime im Einbaumöbel (impressions)
Hello there!
Do you know Einbaumöbel? It's a well known and non-profit location for music jams in Vienna. There, beatboxing sessions and rap jams take place every week. On the 7th of June, I went to the Fest der Reime #17 (celebration of rhymes) that took place in Einbaumöbel. I have never been there before and I was lucky to see familiar faces.
